So for the past two days I’ve been participating in this real women’s conference at the church I go to when I’m home and it was AMAZING!!! The basic theme was loving others, but it was so much more. It was all about how we are the ones that have compassion and emotions that men don’t have. We as women need to be the ones out there spreading our beliefs because there could be no strong man in this world without an even stronger woman. It really forced me to be proud to be a woman and know that even though I can be tough and harsh at times I am also there to be caring and compassionate because that is what we do, but without God we would not have all these qualities and through him all things are possible for us. It was just so easy to relate considering many of my peers are going through changes such as finding a secure job after college and I know I can get discouraged easily by the obstacles I have. However, this made me realize that even without that experience that older more experienced people have, I am my own person with my own qualities that I can bring to the table and with Him all is possible. Clearly these conferences can really add insight into people’s lives….hehe
